Missy Ward - Massage Therapist, Reiki Master

I am always striving for higher education.  I believe it is my duty and responsibility as your alternative health advocate to continually learn and be an ongoing student of alternative healing and wellness practices.

I am a licensed massage therapist bringing over 29 years of diverse massage and alternative healing experience to Enlightened Earth Healing.  I have lovingly developed my craft as a practitioner, alternative healing student, and massage therapy teacher.

Studying massage therapy at The Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in New York City, I developed a comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology and practiced a variety of massage modalities, including Swedish/flowing massage, deep tissue therapeutic massage,  myofascial/connective tissue release and Japanese/Shiatsu massage.

 
I have since studied privately with other alternative healers focusing on structural integration, craniosacral therapy and deep myofascial-release techniques.  I am knowledgeable in essential oils and certified in prenatal massage.  I am a Reiki Master/Teacher, well versed in the art of energy healing.

Encompassing all of my studies and working with a vast range of clients over the years, I have developed a unique style of therapy that is all my own.

Having a deep concern for the well-being of my clients, I take the time to evaluate each person's needs in the moment and adjust the strategies of my sessions to encourage their body's highest healing potential.  All of my sessions strive to offer my clients conscious awareness and emotional connectedness.
